About this product
Bulgarian sour cherry varieties, picked at full ripeness rather than early. Sour cherry is the one fruit where waiting is worth the risk: picked too soon it is simply acidic, and picked right it carries the depth that makes it worth using at all.
The fruit is frozen whole. It is delivered with the stone in as standard; if your process needs it pitted, tell us when you enquire and we will confirm what we can run.
This line goes into bakery fillings, jams, juices and dairy. The season is a single month, June, and volumes follow whatever the harvest gives that year.
Danube varieties, stone removed. High dry matter and deep colour.
Cut from the same Danube fruit. Even calibre, free-flowing.
